The Board Chair would like to welcome you to the 2017 Annual Report of Pines Montessori.
- The Pines Educational Assistance Corporation (doing business as Pines Montessori School) is a non-profit corporation and is managed by a Board of Trustees (the “Board” hereafter).
- Trustees are elected by a vote of the Board and serve three-year terms. The terms of Trustees are staggered to ensure all of them do not stand for reelection in the same year. The Chair presides at all meetings of the Board and performs other duties as assigned by the Board. Committees can be appointed by the Chair for special purposes (e.g. Board Nominating or Budget Committee).
- The Board delegates day-to-day operations of the school to the Head of School.
